A Family-Friendly Recovery Experience
Sunday, July 26 11:00 AM Prospect Park, Brooklyn [~X Miles]

Step off set and into the park — a morning of movement, nature, and connection in the middle of the city.

Film and TV crews are always on the go with unpredictable schedules and little time to recharge. Off Set is designed for production professionals who need to actively recover, reconnect with their families, and get outside before heading into the next call time — without leaving the borough.

Michelle Backe, LCSW-C — Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Founder, Calm on Set

Michelle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Calm on Set, providing specialized Mental Health Coordination services to film, television, and theater productions. Drawing from her extensive clinical background, she brings trauma-informed expertise to sensitive storytelling while centering the wellbeing of artists and participants.

Crew Moves — Film & TV Professionals

OffSet
$25.00

Off Set is a family-friendly morning walk through Prospect Park designed for film and television professionals who rarely get a moment to breathe between projects. A therapist co-leads the experience, weaving structured grounding and team-building moments into the trail — making it more than a walk, and less intimidating than a retreat. If you've spent weeks running on call times, long shoot days, and borrowed sleep — this is your chance to step outside. We're staying in Brooklyn, keeping it accessible, and bringing the crew along. Partners, kids, and all experience levels welcome.
