FilmFit Lab is an in-person workshop for crew working 12+ hour days, offering realistic strength, mobility, and nutrition strategies.

  • What You’ll Experience

    Strength Session (Using Film Equipment!)

    Train using the tools you already handle on set:

    • Apple boxes

    • Sandbags

    • C‑stands

    You’ll learn practical, effective movements that support real on‑set demands like lifting cameras, carrying lights, adjusting equipment, and working long hours on your feet.

    The goal: build strength that translates directly to your job.

    Mobility & Recovery

    A guided mobility session focused on:

    • Opening tight hips

    • Releasing shoulder tension

    • Supporting your lower back

    • Improving posture under load

    Perfect for professionals constantly lifting gear, reaching overhead, and repeating physical tasks all day.

    Nutrition Talk: How to Eat on Set AND Lose Weight

    A practical lecture covering:

    • Navigating crafty and catering

    • Managing energy during long shoot days

    • Losing weight without extreme dieting

    • Creating structure in unpredictable environments

    Additional Wellness Booths

    To support full recovery and self‑care, the event will also include:

    • On‑site massage services

    • Handmade chapstick and soap available for purchase
