Hike & Restore is a 2.5-hour, family-friendly hike designed specifically for film and television professionals. It is for those who rarely get a moment to breathe between projects.
If you've spent weeks on back-to-back call times, grinding through long shoot days, and running on little sleep…now this is your chance to step outside.
Crew Moves presents
Hike &
Restore
A Family-Friendly Recovery Experience
The Experience
Take a break from 12-hour days and back-to-back gigs — and join Crew Moves for a morning of movement, nature, and connection.
Film and TV crews are always on the go with unpredictable schedules and little time to recharge. This experience is designed to help production professionals actively recover, reconnect with their families, and spend time outdoors before heading into the next call time.

What We'll Do
Joining Us
Maddy Wingerath — Therapist
Maddy Wingerath is a psychotherapist and knows moving in nature is the best therapy she knows. Her love of motion and outside led her to an undergraduate degree in outdoor education and a short (but formative) career in personal training, where she realized that bodies and minds are inextricably connected.
We'll begin with a group warm-up before heading out on the trail together. Along the way, we'll combine production skills with outdoor exploration by practicing:
On the Trail
- Taking initiative
- Staying aware of our surroundings
- Looking out for our fellow crew members
- Checking in with our partners to see if they need support
- Observing and engaging with the environment around us
Family Friendly
Children Welcome
- Kids are welcome to attend and join the trail.
- 12 and under are free.
Under 18
Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
