Born in Northern California, Sohailla’s Iranian American household gave her a strong influence of both cultures and language. Growing up, she was surrounded by the rich and vibrant traditions of Iran, instilling in her a deep appreciation for her heritage and its food...Her favorite things are probably eating tadigh and making tadigh...and also coming home to her dad saying "hey want tadigh?"

Now in New York City, Sohailla is a proud alumni of NYU Tisch School of the Arts and has since made the busy little island her home. You can find her producing independent originally works and continues to struggle with the meaning of "work life balance"…(help!) Any pent up frustration will be taken out at the gym. She is a dedicated member of the CrossFit community - and almost linked her Toes to Bar!

Sohailla's love for language extends beyond speaking Farsi, as she is also passionate about improving her fluency in Spanish. Her thirst for adventure and desire to experience new cultures drives her to travel the world and immerse herself in new surroundings.

Last but certainly not least: her greatest accomplishment to date came from her self-produced one-woman show, Raghs, which was performed at The Public Theater at Joe's Pub. The show received critical acclaim, surpassing that one Broadway show no one has heard of (Hamilton?) ahem - anyway, thus solidifying Sohailla's talent as a storyteller.
